A wedding album really is an investment. Its not really for you in the ‘now’, its for you (and your family) in the future. It doesn’t have to be ultra fancy, ultra expensive or even made with your photographer (although as artists we do like to be involved in the process). But I think you will find we all agree that your photographs should be printed, and definitely reside within an album. In ten years’ time, you’ll be so glad you did. And in 70 years’ time, your children and your grandchildren will be glad you did too.
A couple of tips: If the brides parents are hosting, its customary to leave off the brides last name. But in the case of a bride having a different last name than her parents, her full name should be used. If the grooms parents are involved, the brides last name should be included. In its simplest form, this is the standard wording template.
Get a grip on the approximate number of guests you will invite before settling on a venue. This will ensure theres ample space for your crew. As a rule of thumb, allow for 25 to 30 square feet per guest. That may seem like a lot, but its really not if you count the space you will need for the tables, bustling waiters, the band and a dance floor.
